A documented service from first look to handover

A clear process, even when you are away.

Scope, approvals and useful photographic evidence stay clear from the first assessment to the final handover — whether you are in the Algarve or managing the property remotely.

An online range is indicative. The final scope and price are confirmed in writing after the necessary checks.

01

Assess remotely

Location, known measurements and safe photographs create the first practical picture.

02

Confirm the scope

Surfaces, method, access, inclusions, exclusions and price are written down.

03

Work and report

Preparation and progress are documented at the points that help you make decisions.

04

Check and hand over

The agreed scope is reviewed and completion photographs close the job clearly.

Before work begins

Decisions first. Scheduling second.

A good quotation is not only a number. It explains what will be worked on, how access will be handled and what information could still change the price.

01

Useful property evidence

A map pin, broad measurements and 3–5 safe photographs help identify the property, scale and access.

02

Written scope and exclusions

We list the surfaces and work included, together with repairs, specialist access or other items that are not included.

03

Method and materials

Preparation, cleaning pressure, coatings or treatments are chosen for the actual surface and visible condition.

04

Timing and practical access

Dates, weather limits, keys, occupants, parking, water and electricity are considered before work starts.

Photographs that answer decisions

Context, condition and access — not just a close-up.

These licensed reference images show the type of evidence that helps with an initial assessment. They are not photographs of Brilho & Cor client work.

During the work

Updates should help you decide, not create noise.

  1. 01

    Start confirmation

We confirm arrival and the agreed working area before the main work begins.

  2. 02

    Preparation evidence

Protection, cleaning or preparation can be photographed where it is useful to verify the method.

  3. 03

    Meaningful progress

Updates focus on completed stages, findings and decisions rather than an arbitrary stream of images.

  4. 04

    Written changes

Anything outside the agreed scope is separated from the original work and approved before proceeding.

Change-control rule

No silent extras.

If we find work outside the agreed scope, we stop at the affected area, document it, explain the options and wait for written approval before proceeding.

  • The original scope remains visible
  • The reason and options are documented
  • Price and timing effects are stated
  • Approval is recorded before extra work

Handover

Finish with a record the owner can understand.

The final check connects the quotation to what was completed. It also keeps future maintenance decisions based on known facts rather than memory.

Agreed scope checked

The completed surfaces are reviewed against the written scope.

Useful comparison views

Completion photographs repeat the clearest original angles where practical.

Outstanding observations

Anything not completed or recommended for later is listed separately.

Tidy working area

Protection and work materials are removed and the practical handover is confirmed.

Practical answers

Before you entrust us with the property.

Do I need to be in the Algarve during the work?

Not necessarily. Access can be coordinated with an owner, keyholder or property manager. The scope, approval contact and reporting format should be agreed before scheduling.

What happens if hidden damage appears?

We do not treat undiscovered repairs as automatically approved. The affected area is documented, options are explained and any change to price or timing is agreed in writing first.

Does a photo report replace a technical inspection?

No. Photographs are useful evidence of visible condition and progress, but they do not confirm hidden defects, structural performance or every safety condition.

How is the final price confirmed?

The online calculator provides an indicative range. The final quotation follows review of the relevant measurements, photographs, material, access and any site visit that is needed.
