When the review is most useful
Before repainting, before buying equipment and after recurring condensation.
Review active moisture before damaged finishes are repaired or repainted, so the new work is not used to hide an unresolved cause.

Before you request a review
Humidity and ventilation, without overpromising.
The first review narrows the decision. It does not replace specialist building pathology, HVAC design or laboratory testing when those are required.
Will ventilation remove the cause of every mould problem?
No. Ventilation can help when excess indoor humidity and poor air change drive condensation. It does not repair rain entry, plumbing leaks, rising damp or a defective building detail.
Is a dehumidifier the same as ventilation?
No. A dehumidifier removes water from indoor air, while ventilation replaces indoor air with outdoor air. Either may be useful, and sometimes the property needs both or a building repair first.
Can the review be completed from photographs?
Photographs and readings support the first assessment. An on-site inspection or specialist measurement may still be needed before equipment is selected or installed.
Do you install ventilation systems?
We provide the initial property review and can help coordinate a separate proposal where a suitably qualified ventilation professional is required. Design and installation remain subject to their assessment and quotation.
Should mould be painted over after ventilation is fitted?
No. The moisture source should be controlled, affected material assessed and the surface properly cleaned, dried and prepared before repainting.
